
Keith Alexander graduated from the University of North Florida in 1976 with a degree in Transportation and Logistics from the Business School at UNF.
Following college, Alexander spent nine years in the trucking business, where his last job in that industry was serving as Vice President of Operations for a major bulk chemical carrier. In 1985 he joined a Texas based company which specialized in the marketing of sulfuric acid. Beginning as a sales representative, he ultimately became President of the company in 1994. While under his leadership, the company more than doubled its revenue and profitability in three years. In 2000, he joined the world’s largest independent fertilizer trading firm as a consultant to build a domestic sulfuric acid business from scratch. Through the use of his contacts, knowledge and guidance, the company was able to successfully establish itself in the US domestic sulfuric acid market.
In May 2006, Alexander formed SA Services, LLC. He has relied upon his knowledge, experience, relationships, ability to hire talented colleagues and good reputation gained over 25 years in the industry to build SAS into a well respected participant in the sulfuric acid industry.
Alexander has been married to his wife Deb since 1973 and they have one daughter, Leslie.
Camilo Arizmendi earned his bachelor of science with a double major in biblical studies and leadership and administration from College of Biblical Studies.
Prior to joining SAS, Camilo spent seven years holding positions in several of the service industries, including the restaurant, health club, and non-profit. He specialized in service, training, and management. Since joining SA Services, LLC. in 2007, Camilo has worked in our customer service area and has helped support the rapid growth of SAS.
Camilo was born in Bogota, Colombia, and along with visiting his native country and traveling, he enjoys the outdoors, and volunteering for non-profits.
Mariana graduated from Andres Bello University in Santiago, Chile in 2002, with a bachelor degree in Business Administration. She earned her M. B. A. in 2009 from Adolfo Ibañez University in Santiago, Chile.
Mariana has been involved in the mining business over 10 years with 7 years focused in the sulfuric acid market. Before joining Ameropa-SAS, she worked in Chile for the world’s largest copper producer. The majority of her time in the mining business has been spent in commercialization of sulfuric acid with emphasis on market development, customer relationships and logistics solutions.
Mariana lives in Santiago, Chile where she enjoys spending time with her lovely daughter, Javiera, and other nearby family.
Ken Castellano earned his Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from the University of South Florida with a minor in Business Administration. While there, he earned his membership into The National Society of Collegiate Scholars for outstanding scholarship, leadership and service.
In 2000, he joined a Florida-based sulfuric acid trading company to work both inside sales and logistics. In 2002, he joined the world’s largest fertilizer trading organization and specialized in sulfuric acid marketing and logistics. He joined SA Services at its’ inception and his knowledge of logistics has been instrumental in the success of SAS.
He has been married to his wife Tonya for three years and they have a beautiful son, Nickolas Alexander Castellano. In his free time, he enjoys writing comedy, cooking, traveling and donating both time and money to various organizations or individuals in need of assistance.
James Crawford graduated with a Finance degree from Texas A&M University in December of 2007.
James has spent several years in sales and service roles for a variety of industries ranging from healthcare to finance. James joined the customer service team of SAS in 2008 and continues to contribute to the sustained growth and success of SA Services.
James was born and raised in the Houston area and enjoys traveling, creating and enjoying music, and writing.
Allison Evans attended Iowa State University and majored in Advertising with an emphasis in Marketing.
Allison has over seven years experience in the sulfuric acid industry. In 2004, she began her career working for the world’s largest fertilizer trading organization, beginning to market sulfuric acid in the Southeast US and eventually managing their sulfuric acid program for North America. In 2008, Allison married Will Evans and subsequently moved to London to join her husband and help develop an international sulfuric acid business for a European based fertilizer trading company. Allison and her husband then moved to Dubai and she took the opportunity to diversify her role and work for an independent fertilizer trading and marketing company at that time. After her much enjoyed time abroad, Allison decided to head back to the US and rejoined her old comrades to help market sulfuric acid for SAS and bring some of her international experience from the previous couple years.
Allison and her husband Will relocated to The Woodlands in December 2010 and enjoy traveling and spending time with their families.
Tim Fitzgerald is a graduate of Marquette University with a Bachelor of Science Business administration degree. His area of specialty was Marketing/Sales.
Tim brings to SA Services, LLC. , more than twenty-five years in the chemical industry. Before joining SAS, Tim was most recently involved in the marketing and transportation of nitric acid with one of the largest privately held marketers of industrial nitric acid in the US. Most of his years were spent in the phosphate/phosphoric acids business working for Monsanto, Solutia, Nutrasweet and Astaris (now ICLPP). Tim held various positions in sales, marketing and product management servicing a wide array of industries which included food, industrial, agricultural, water treatment, pharmaceutical and fire safety.
Tim and his wife, Anne have 3 children- Patrick, Maggie and Gennie. Tim relocated from St. Louis and now resides in The Woodlands, TX.
Zach Hendricks earned his Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations in 2008 from Sam Houston State University.
Before joining the SAS team, Zach spent eight years as a full time musician and served at several Houston area ministries. He continues to serve at his home church, focusing on music ministry and working with students.
Zach is a Houston native, married to his lovely wife, Shelby. He enjoys many things related to music, production, and performance, as well as travel, the outdoors, and his community.
Mike McLellan graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas in 1986 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Agri-Business.
Mike has been in the chemical business for over 20 years with the last 15 spent focusing on the global oilfield chemical market. Prior to the oilfield Mike spent the majority of his time with Rhone Poulenc in their basic chemical group which ultimately became Rhodia. The majority of his time in the oilfield has been spent in product and market development focusing on all segments of the market, including but not limited to Drilling, Pumping Services & Completions, and Production Chemicals. During this time he’s worked for large companies like BASF and Kraton Polymers as well as smaller start up firms.
Mike and his wife Michelle have two children, Colin and Madison and call The Woodlands, Texas home.
Dave Merrill earned his B.S. Business Administration from Southeast Missouri State University in 2003 and his M.A in Leadership from Asbury Theological Seminary in 2006.
Dave’s field experience prior to joining SAS consists of business management, education administration, coaching at the collegiate level and church leadership. He joined the SAS team in late March of 2009. He assists with account management and customer service.
Dave was born at Scott Air Force Base in Belleville, IL. He has been married to his beautiful wife, Kara, since 2006. In his free time, Dave enjoys volunteering for non-profit organizations, participating in a number of recreational activities and spending time with his friends and family.
Judy McKnight, a native East Texan, earned her Bachelor of Arts in Teaching degree from Sam Houston State University with a major in journalism and minor in English.
Judy began her career teaching high school students and working part-time for a CPA, which transitioned to her own accounting business with a variety of clients. Judy has been the accountant for SA Services since it began in 2006.
Judy and her husband Joe have a son and daughter, and a son-in-law. In addition to spending time with family and keeping track of SA Services’ business, she enjoys teaching Bible studies and going on short term mission trips.
Lauren Seamans attended Brazosport College and Stephen F. Austin State University where she majored in Business Administration.
Lauren, a native Houstonian, has had a very diverse career which included medical, legal and non-profit. Lauren joined SA Services in 2008 in her position as Office Manager which includes accounts payable.
Lauren and her husband, Jim, have three sons, one daughter-in-law and a precious granddaughter born in March 2009.
